Delicious! Steak was cooked to perfection. Salad was fresh made and not from a bag... highly recommend this plsce
Did not see the extremely tiny tiny print about heavy seasoning on steaks...so first one ordered though done perfectly had me going for medication for an allergy to pepper(i have to have it on a medic ID bracelet). Fortunately I had not ingested enough for a serious reaction...so the asst manager??? offered to have another one prepared. The second one came out so bloody...(should have been medium well) and still had pepper picked up from the grill. Was informed this would happen with anything ordered. Basically paid for meal that I couldn't eat. Baked potatoes were also burned. Never again.
Overall, the experience was pleasant. The prime rib I ordered was succulent and a perfect medium-rare. The horseradish sauce was a good complement. The sangria came in a fish bowl and was tasty though on the weak side. Service was slow at times and a bit inattentive, perhaps due to our isolated location in a corner. With a better server, I think you'd have a "4 star" experience.
Have eaten at Longhorn in New Jersey and didn't have this issue so must be a New England thing.
Decent food and a nice looking bar. The manager looks young but he was very friendly and took care of me when a mistake was made on my order. He looks like he works hard and was actually working around in the kitchen with his staff.
It's Longhorn. Seen one you've seen them all, right? Well, not necessarily. The Mansfield restaurant is clean, the service is excellent and everything comes out hot and appetizing. In the restaurant world, that's key. We have our favorites, of course, and mine is steak, steak and more steak. This Longhorn never disappoints. Other entrees, appetizers,salads and desserts all very good, too. Good selection from the bar as well.
